The kind of folk art that only magical creatures with a name made up of two entirely different creatures who found love in dangerous times could make?
Would you follow that creature's blog? Could you commit to the online rantings of the bastard child of a mammal and a marsupial?
The Book of Elephangaroo
This is a 5x7 postcard which will shortly be finding it’s way to Washington. I drew it at work on my lunch break, I hope she likes it!
A little before and after. I had actually called the card complete but after a while, it started to bug me. So I drew a flower. And that flower needed another flower…and it sort of snowballed on me!! Anyhow, I like it. It’s badass.

I thought it would be fun to post my unfinished work here. This week, I mostly drew skeletons. I did some other stuff but this was the only one I hadn’t coloured yet. It’s all naked.

KNOWING
The best part about the film Knowing was the scene where the sun is starting to go crazy hot and a forest catches on fire. A moose in flames erupts from the inferno, shaking it’s horns in a frenzy and the other forest animals follow suit. Here’s the thing. That moose wasn’t the first animal out of there. It was actually following a furry caterpillar on the right of the screen. That caterpillar is a hero, man. And the moose stole his glory.
Apart from that, Knowing is more or less a film about a bunch of aliens who wait 50 years to collect a couple of kids and some rabbits.
